The successful applicants will be part of the research project “Activist becomings in South Africa and Myanmar. Studying infrastructure and politics through activists’ life-worlds” as funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG); they will be in charge of the sub-projects in South Africa. The university seeks highly motivated individuals holding an excellent university degree in Social or Cultural Anthropology. Ethnographic fieldwork experiences, especially in Africa, are particularly welcome.
