The goal of the program is to provide a comprehensive education in Social Anthropology. Studies are flexible with elective courses chosen from the department’s list of advanced level courses, varying from term to term throughout the program. Learn more about the program here.

Application deadline

Deadline for application for students outside the EU is January 15, for Swedish students and students from EU/EET countries and Switzerland deadline for application is April 15. The program starts in late August. To apply for the program you must have a BA in Social Anthropology or equivalent in the Social or Cultural Sciences.

The program is structured according to the Bologna process for international comparability and compatibility.
