The position is funded by the Research Council of Norway as part of the project Materializing Kinship: Cycles of life at the Norwegian 'hytte', directed by Prof. Marianne Lien. The successful applicant will design and undertake an independent sub-project based on fieldwork situated in selected hytte areas in Norway, with a focus on material and landscape practices, kin relations, everyday life and mobility in relation to the life at the hytte.

Applicants must have at least five years higher education including a two-year master's degree or equivalent in social anthropology.
